Kept cold the whole way

Nothing thaws between the dock and your kitchen. Every order travels packed on ice in an insulated box, with the temperature logged until it reaches you.

Insulated box

Insulated box

Double-walled sealed box traps cold and blocks outside heat for the full delivery journey.

Temperature log

Temperature log

Built-in temperature tracker records shipping history to verify cold-chain integrity.

Foam insulation

Foam insulation

Protective foam wrapping cushions seafood and maintains stable low temperature.

0-4°C Cold Chain
Steady Cooling

Held at chiller temperature, start to finish

The dial sits where the catch sits: just above freezing, never frozen hard, never warm. That narrow band is what keeps texture intact on the way to you.

  • Chilled, not deep frozen
  • Logged for the whole journey

Our Origin

From Cold Water to Your Table

A short story of fresh seafood, carefully caught and gently delivered.

From Cold Water to Your Table
  1. 1

    Cold Water, Clean Taste

Our seafood grows in cold, clear waters. The steady current and cool temperature help it develop firm flesh and a naturally sweet flavour.

  2. 2

    Caught and Brought Ashore

Freshness begins the moment the catch comes aboard. Fast handling, careful cleaning, and quick cooling protect the quality of every piece.

  3. 3

    The Cold Chain Journey

From boat to packing room, we maintain a low temperature. This quiet work behind the scenes helps lock in freshness, texture, and taste.

  4. 4

    Simple Cooking, Beautiful Result

Good seafood does not need complicated recipes. A light steam, a quick grill, or a simple touch of butter and lemon is often enough.

Fresh seafood tastes best when it is treated gently from sea to table.

Seafood FAQ

How long does it keep?
Frozen orders hold for up to six months at -18 degrees or below. Once thawed, cook and eat within two days.
How should I thaw it?
Move it to the bottom shelf of the fridge the night before and let it come back slowly. Pat the surface dry before cooking so it sears rather than steams.
How do I cook it?
Keep it simple and keep it quick. Most of what we sell is at its best seared hard, grilled, or steamed briefly with ginger and spring onion.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout New Zealand, packed on ice in an insulated box so it arrives cold wherever it is going.
